The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is impressed that President Edgar Lungu has strived to try and bring back the country to where it was supposed to be in the one month of his tenure in office.
YALI Governance Advisor Isaac Mwanza has told QFM News in an interview that it is too early for some people to criticize President Lungu considering that he has just been in office for barely 31 days now.
Mr. Mwanza states that the re-launching of the Foreign Policy will help the government to market the country outside.
Mr. Mwanza has however noted that the Head of State has made certain decisions that some people are not comfortable with such as maintaining a big cabinet.
He says if President Lungu maintained a smaller cabinet, it was going to be easy for his government to deliver the much needed development in the country unlike having a bigger cabinet.
Mr. Mwanza has since expressed confidence that the Head of State is going in the right direction going by some decisions he has made so far.
