————- Forum for Advocacy for Good Governance, Equity and Justice has said it will be a mistake for President Edger Lungu to appoint Members of Parliament (MPs) who have failed to perform in their constituencies to ministerial positions.
Forum for Advocacy for Good Governance, Equity and Justice Executive Director Philimon Phiri said this to ZANIS in an interview in Ndola today.
Mr. Phiri noted that MPs who have failed to perform in their respective constituencies should not be part of cabinet because they will derail development in the country.
He said would be wise for President Lungu not to over load MPs who have failed to perform in their constituencies with ministerial positions.
He has also advised President Lungu to identify capable people from the media, civil society and the business fraternity to be part of his leadership as a way of promoting divergent views that can foster development.
