The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says President Edgar Lungu has shown commitment to delivering on his promises.
FODEP Executive Director Macdonald Chipenzi says the recognition of Henry Kanyanta Sosala and the appointing of Ngosa Simbyakula as Justice Minister to spearhead the constitution making process point to the fact that President Lungu may fulfill most his campaign promises.
Mr. Chipenzi says it is good that President Lungu has stayed true to his promise because this is what the people of Zambia want.
He adds that leaders must be able to keep their promises instead of merely using people as ladders to get to power.
Mr. Chipenzi says it is good that finally the impasse surrounding the recognition of Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba speaking people will now be put to rest.
He has further urged President Lungu to continue honoring all the promises he made to the people of Zambia stressing that this will help him gain the confidence and trust of the people.
