——–Kalulushi District Commissioner Kampamba Mulenga has commended the Ministry of Tourism for employing local people in the area.
Ms. Mulenga said this in Kalulushi today when Human Resource Officer from the Zambia Wild Life Authority (ZAWA) paid a courtesy call.
She said as a district commissioner, she was impressed with the Ministry of Tourism for employing from within the communities.
She further said as of October last year, three local people had been employed.
Ms Mulenga stated that by employing local people, the Ministry was not only boosting the economy, but also bringing hope to the residents that it was possible to be employed by government.
She said gone were the days when government used to employ people from Lusaka only.
She said that she had been assured that more people would be employed this year.
