PRESIDENT Sata’s family yesterday held a private church service for the late President at Our Heavenly Father Parish in Lusaka’s Chelston township.
According to Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) news monitored in Lusaka yesterday, Chelstone Parish Father Lastone Lupupa described President Sata as a God fearing man who sought divine guidance in politics.
Fr Lupupa said President Sata in his last service at State House before he left for London for his medical treatment gave his life to God but promised to attend church service at the church when he returned.
The clergy said President Sata was the uniting factor in the family. Fr Lupupa prayed for continued unity in the family.
