Kasama residents have complained bitterly over the persistent water shortage.
The residents charged that the shortage of water has adversely affected them saying they have now resorted to drawing water from wells and streams thereby posing a danger to their health.
They appealed to Chambeshi water and Sewerage Company to rectify the problem before airborne diseases break out.
Meanwhile, Chambeshi water and Sewerage Company Management disclosed that the company has managed to rectify the problem saying normal water supply will soon resume.
Management further appealed to clients to ensure that taps are closed when not in use in a bid to minimize water losses
