A 27-year mother of Kafue’s Mtendere compound is seeking help from well wishers to enable her take care of her triplets.
Mildred Sakala, a marketeer, gave birth to triplets between 11:00 hours and 12:00 hours on Sunday.
In an interview with ZANIS at Kafue District Hospital, Ms Sakala appealed for material and financial assistance to enable her raise her triplets.
Ms Sakala, who is now a mother of five, lamented that her husband, Hillary Chika, is not in formal employment and does not earn enough to support the family.
She, however, expressed gratitude to staff at Kafue District Hospital for helping her deliver successfully and thanked God for the triplets.
And the district hospital in-charge, Amanda Malungo, confirmed that Ms Sakala gave birth through a normal delivery process to one girl and two boys at 11:38hrs,11:48hrs and 11:54hrs respectively.
