TWO Chinese and a Zambian have appeared in a Ndola magistrate’s court for failing to pay a debt of K375,000.
The three appeared on Thursday before Ndola Chief Resident Magistrate Paul Chisha for obtaining pecuniary advantage of K375,000 by false pretences.
They pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The two Chinese are Anna Jee, a woman aged 30, a business executive of plot 19 Richards Garden in Kitwe and Hao Bo, a man aged 36, a purchasing manager for copper oxide at Sino Metals and of 03 Buntungwa Drive in Chambishi.
The accused Zambian is Adam Bota, 37, a business executive of Two A Dominic Momba Road in Chingola.
It is alleged that the trio
between January 1 and February 11, in Ndola while acting together by false pretences, dishonestly obtained pecuniary advantage of K375,000 from Kilewe Matolo, a debt they made liable and in whole invaded payment.
They were arrested on February 25.
Mr Chisha adjourned the case to April 3, for commencement of trial and extended police bond for all the accused people
