Old patient commits suicide
Gwembe, February 22, ZANIS ——- A Chronically ill woman believed to be in her late 60s ended her miserable life on Tuesday using her chitenge material.
Christater Makamu of Gwembe’s Hang’andu village in Muyumbwe chiefdom was discovered hanging in the tree near her homestead around 16:00 hours on Tuesday.
Her nephew, Albert Mweene told police in Gwembe that the deceased went missing in the early hours of Tuesday before she was found dead near her house.
Police suspected no foul play and have since advised the family to bury the deceased.
