National Revolution Party (NRP) president Cozmo Mumba has dismissed assertions that he was beaten by the man who caught him with his Wife in Katuba as opposed to contrary to media reports that he was assaulted by UPND cadres.
Dr. Mumba has told Qfm news he cannot defend himself against such false allegations, after being challenged to tell the truth about what exactly transpired.
He has maintains that he was attacked by UPND cadres clad in party attire.
He says this is the reason why he had to inform the Inspector General of Police to deploy officers to Katuba so as to provide security in the area.
Dr. Mumba has since challenged those disputing his version of what transpired to back their allegations with evidence.
