–The Serenje Magistrate Fidelis Ngosa has sentenced Wisdom Chibeka , aged 26 of Kambobe Comp in Mpika district, in Chief Kopa’s area for two years with hard labour.
Magistrate Ngosa convicted the accused after he admitted the charge.
He was found in possession of 1433g of the psychotropic substances contrary to Section 6 Cap 96 of the laws of Zambia.
In another court, Magistrate Chiluba Peston Kalutwe sent to prison Newton George Changwe 57, of Chief Kabamba in Serenje District for 12 months with hard labour after he admitted the charge of being in possession of dagga weigh 511grams.
Meanwhile, a woman who has been charged with incest case has appeared before Magistrate Kalutwe for mention.
Magistrate Kalutwe said he awaits for the instructions from the director of Public prosecutions and she sent back the suspect to remand prison in Serenje until instruction are issued and the accussed will appear in court on 21st February, 2014 for continued mention.
The court sent his brother, Nicholas Mukuwa Bulaya who is married too for over 10 years and the couple are charged with incest to appear in court soon.
