‘ Fake ’ teacher nabbed in Isoka District

Isoka, February 13, 2013, ZANIS —  Police in Isoka district of Muchinga Province have arrested a 30-year-old teacher at Muchinga Secondary School for allegedly forging his teaching diploma.

ZANIS reports that Muchinga Province Police commissioner Remmy Kajoba has confirmed the development in an interview.

Vince Lusambo,  who is currently detained at Isoka police station,  is alleged to have forged his teaching Diploma between 2010 and 2011 purporting that he obtained the said document from Mufulira Teachers training College on the Copper belt when in fact not.

According to Mr. Kajoba, the school authorities reported Lusambo to the police after realizing that he was incompetent despite possessing the rightful qualifications in Mathematics and English.

Trouble started when Lusambo started pressurizing the school authorities to make him the head of department.
