ZANIS COPY – Pedestrian killed by motorbike in Mkushi

——A 70-year-old man of old Mkushi in the newly created Luano district died yesterday after a motorbike hit him.

Central Province acting Police Commissioner, Andrew Mbewe, who confirmed to ZANIS in Kabwe today named the man as Goodwell Musonda.

Mr Mbewe said the incident happened at about 11:00hrs after the motor bike, registration number GRZ 12EY, ridden by Lackson Kayela, 18,  hit the late Musonda 49 km from old Mkushi.

He said the deceased was rushed to Mkushi District Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body of the late old man is lying in Mkushi General Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem and burial.
