The 2014 Zambia league season kicks off on February 1 with the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield.
According to the Football Association of Zambia, the league proper will kick off in March.
Four team’s will go into the Charity Shield with 2013 MTN/FAZ Super Division champions Nkana topping the semifinal bill.
Zesco United, who finished runners up last season, Nchanga Rangers and Red Arrows complete this years’ Charity Shield semifinal roll.
However, FAZ has yet to make the draws and announce the venue of both the semifinal and finals to be played on February 22.
Meanwhile, this year’s MTN/FAZ Super Division season will kick off on March 1 while Week Two matches will follow on March 22.
