Mtendere youth appreciate Chiniese game initiative

–Some Mtendere Youth has praised the Patriotic Front (PF) administration for partnering with Chinese investors in the country to uplift the living standard of young people in the township.

This follows the installation of a Tele-Machine gadget by Chinese investors in the compound which allows them to play a prizing game thereby empowering them financially.

Chimwemwe Mumba told ZANIS that the gadget has been appreciated by young people in Mtendere who said they will no longer sleep hungry because the gadget allows them to win money ranging from small amounts to a hundred Kwacha on a single play.

Mumba said depending with one’s intelligence one can win money up to the amount of K250 at the end of the day.

He said youth are extremely happy, adding that the tele-gadget machine will now discourage them from playing an illegal gambling game called
Njuka in a local language.

And Gift Mulyata, 27, said this is what the youth wanted to see when they voted for the PF   on September 20, 2011.

Mulyata said that this will reduce thefts which were previously used to be perpetuated by young people due to lack of employment which has engulfed the nation for some time now.

He urged the PF government to continue working for the plight of young people in the country by providing more incentives for them in order to uplift their living standards.

And proprietor of the tele -machine gadget, Juniua Junua, said youth roaming the streets should be given an opportunity to play a game which will enable them access funds although they are in small amounts.

Mr Junua told ZANIS in an interview in Mtendere that the newly introduced machine is good for the young people because it will make them busy as opposed to engaging in illicit activities that end up ruing their future.

He said his firm has come to Zambia to join hands with government in trying to alleviate some of the challenges young people go through in the country.
