The Road Development Agency (RDA) has refuted allegations that it has delayed paying Chinese Contractors China Jiangxi Cooperation Working on the 90 km Isoka – Muyombe Road in Muchinga Province.
RDA Director, Engineer Charles Mushota has told QFM-News in a telephone interview from Angola that government released about one hundred and eighty nine million kwacha for Contractors constructing roads in some parts of the country wondering why China Jiangxi Cooperation come up with such claims.
Mr. Mushota says he has made sure that all contractors are paid on time.
He explains that government has paid proportion to what it owes all contractors in the country so that they have money to meet their obligations.
