Midfielder Yussif Rahman Chibsah and goalie Razak Braimah have been included in the Black Stars squad for next month’s World Cup qualifier with Zambia in Kumasi.
The two players have maintained their places in the team after impressing the technical handlers on their first outing, the international friendly with Turkey in Instanbul two weeks ago.
A highly placed source told GNA Sports that coach Kwasi Appiah has extended invitations to the two players for the crucial 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolos.
Chibsah, who plays for Italian newcomers Sassuolo played a bit part role in the game against the Turks whilst Braimah of Spanish second-tier side Guadalajara proved a perfect deputy for first choice shot-stopper Fatau Dauda after coming on in the second half.
The two players are likely to be the new faces in the team for the encounter, which the Stars need at least a point to qualify for the final round of the continental qualifying series.
Ghana has 12 points, just a point richer than the Zambians. GNA
