THE Showgrounds in Lusaka has not been sold to anyone, the Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia (ACSZ) has said.
ACSZ president, Caroline Silwamba said that the Society or government had no intentions of selling the Showgrounds or relocating it to any other place other than the current area.
Ms Silwamba pointed out that the Showgrounds was owned by ACSZ, a non-profit making, non-governmental organisation whose membership she said was drawn from individuals and institutions across the country.
She advised people who were circulating rumours to get facts right before issuing statements in the media.
Ms Silwamba said that the Society had continued focusing on its development agenda.
