191 SCHOOLS TO STAY CLOSED IN LUSAKA

The Ministry of General Education has disclosed that a total number of 191 schools remain closed in Lusaka following the Cholera Outbreak.
Ministry of General Education Spokesperson Nondo Chilonga has told Phoenix News in an interview that the schools include Community, Government, Grant aided and Private schools.

Mrs Chilonga has explained that most of the affected schools are in cholera epicentres which remain closed as per Ministry of General Education directive until permitted to open by the ministry of health inspectors upon meeting the required sanitary conditions.
