Right now there is someone who has brought into the country a fleet of 100 brand new trucks. If the ACC were independent, they could have started their investigations just how the person managed to buy 100 brand new trucks at a time such as this when the nation is going through an economical crisis. How did he take the money outside the country? Was it a bank transfer? Is Bank of Zambia even aware that billions from one account holder was used for such purchases? If the person used hard cash, where did he change the money and how did he get money to buy 100 new trucks at once? How come the person immediately clinches a deal to transport maize? This must surely be a big guy in the nation. How much did ZRA make from the import of these trucks? The problem is that we have an ACC that waits for instructions,
We need a more serious ACC that can fight corruption without instructions
