Former District Commissioner for Mazabuka Eugene Munyama has died.
Munyama is alleged to have taken his own life. Circumstances surrounding reasons for such an action and of his death remain unclear.
Munyama was the Patriotic Front Magoye Constituency (Southern Province) candidate and contested the seat but lost in the 2011 elections.
Later President Michael Sata appointed him District Commissionner for Mazabuka. He later crossed into the UPND.
