POLICE in Mufulira have arrested 20 teachers for allegedly altering figures on their payslips and inflating their salaries which they dubiously used to access colossal sums of money in loans from a Lusaka-based financial lending institution.
Copperbelt commissioner of police Charity Katanga said in an interview yesterday that the teachers allegedly inflated figures on their payslips in August last year and colossal sums of money in loans were paid to them.
