Former Economics Association of Zambia President Noel Nkhoma says there is no need to dollarize the economy because the Kwacha will rebound.
Action Zambia Country Director Pamela Chisanga is calling for the dollarization of the Zambian economy in view of the continued rapid depreciation of the local currency.
But Mr. Nkhoma says there is still hope that the Zambian kwacha will regain ground against major convertible currencies.
He has since advised government to undertake several measures aimed at stabilizing the Kwacha.
