——The voters’ card replacement exercise has kicked off in Chinsali district of Muchinga province with four centres in place.
District Electoral Officer, Patrick Kambita, said the exercise started yesterday in the district.
Mr Kambita named the four centres as Musanya, Mulilansolo, Chiunda and Chimbeimbei.
He said police officers have also been deployed in all the centres to help those replacing their voters’ cards to obtain police reports right at the centres instead of traveling to the Boma.
The District Electoral Officer said the Provincial Local Government Officer is currently on the ground to monitor the situation.
