—-One person has drowned and his body is missing at Chipoma Falls in Chinsali district of Muchinga Province after a drinking spree.
Muchinga Deputy Police Commissioner, Bonny Kapeso, who confirmed the incident to ZANIS today, identified the missing person as Peter Mubanga, aged 27 a government employee.
Mr Kapeso said the incident occurred yesterday between 17:00 and 18:00 hours.
Mr Kapeso said Mubanga, a Clerical Officer at the Buildings Department, was in the company of three other friends when he disappeared.
He said the body of Mubanga has not yet been found, adding that a search of combined efforts by police and fire brigade officers is underway.
