Motorists happy with Police Patrols in Kasama

—————-Motorists in Kasama have commended the Zambia Police Service and the Road Transport and safety Agency (RTSA) for intensifying road patrols in the area.

 

Charles Simukoko 26, a taxi driver said the move taken by the two institutions is welcome in that it will help reduce road traffic accidents.

 

Mr. Simukoko urged the Police and RTSA to ensure that all vehicles are road worthy if sanity is to be attained on the roads.

 

He said motorists must ensure they have valid documents and always comply with the officers instructions while on the road.

 

Mr. Simukoko observed that most drivers in the district have no valid documents and when arrested they put the blame on police officers.  

 

He urged motorists to abide by the road safety regulation to avoid accidents.
