This is in the matter in which Mr. Sampa has contested the consent judgment by high court judge Mungeni Mulenga declaring Mr. Lungu as PF President.

The full bench of the Supreme Court led by acting chief justice Lombe Chibesakunda heard the arguments from lawyers from both parties.

After an intensive argument for about three hours , chief justice Lombe Chibesakunda adjourned the matter to Monday next week for possible judgment.

Suspended PF Secretary General Bridget Atanga, former chairperson for elections Sylvia Masebo and Lusaka province chairman Geoffrey Chumbwe accompanied Mr. Sampa.

Meanwhile there was tight security at around the court premises as the matter was being heard.
