2.20pm – A must-win for Zambia too
Nigeria aren’t the only Africa powerhouse in danger of missing out of the finals. 2012 champions Zambia will have to jostle with Mozambique, to make the finals, while 2010 champions Egypt must make up ground on Senegal, who they host. We are in for some humdingers.
2.15pm – Will the defending nations qualify?
Nigeria are in danger of not making it to the Finals as they head to Congo-Brazzaville for a tricky tie against Claude Le Roy’s Diables Rouges (Red Devils). The Super Eagles desperately need a win to resurrect what has quite frankly been a faltering campaign.Stephen Keshi, whose tenure as coach was only recently renewed will know that his brief is to win against Congo to give his side a fighting chance of making it to Equatorial Guinea.Anything but a victory could just about place Nigeria’s hopes in jeopardy. Can the Super Eagles soar?
