A clergyman in Kaputa District of Northern Province has charged that there is too much illicit sex, alcohol, and drug abuse and patronizing of bars among the youths in the area.
Radio Mano’s Kaputa correspondents report that St. Annie’s Catholic Church Priest In-Charge Father Leonard Kalyoti said this during the District Coordinating Committee-DDCC meeting Friday.
Fr. Kalyoti has attributed the sad development to lack of social amenities in the district where youths can spend their free time.
He stated that bar owners to take a responsibility and stop youths from entering their premises.
Meanwhile, Kaputa District Council and Police have pledged to fight the issue of youths patronizing bars saying they will be inspecting the said premises.
Talking about stuff you don’t know. Just stick to Lusaka gossip and leave the folks in Kaputa alone
So what?
