Zambia hosts parliamentarians sports tournament
Lusaka, July 10, 2014, ZANIS—The National Assembly of Zambia will this weekend host an open sports tournament with their Zimbabwean counterparts in Livingstone.
National Assembly Media and Liaison Officer Mathew Mukelabai has disclosed the development in a statement to ZANIS Sports in Lusaka today.
Mr. Mukelabai says the sports tournament will be held on Sunday and is aimed at enhancing the bilateral and parliamentary cooperation between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
He explained that the tournament will take place at the Victoria Falls ZESCO Club featuring only football and netball.
Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini and his Zimbabwean counterpart Jacob Mudenda are among the key guests expected to participate in the one day tournament.
