Police in Lusaka this morning recorded a warn and caution statement from Mr. Collins Changwe Kabwe aged 32, a Hot FM Radio Station Programs manager for Publication of False News with Intent to Cause Fear and Alarm to the Public Contrary to Section 67 (1) of the Laws of Zambia. This is in connection with the news that was aired on Hot FM Radion Station between 26th and 27th May 2014 which stated that the Republican President, His Excellency Micheal Chilufya Sata had been evacuated to South Africa for medication after collapsing. Mr.Kabwe opted to remain silent. Investigations in the matter continue.
