Free again, General Kanene granted bail

Musician Clifford Dimba popularly known as General Kanene has been granted bail in his assault case.
Dimba was last week denied bail by Lusaka Magistrate Kenneth Mulife on account that he was interfering with witnesses.
He has been at loggerheads with the law a little too often such that even a presidential pardon has not deterred him from crossing the law.

Days after being pardoned by President Edgar Lungu, Dimba entangled himself with a battery case that fizzled out but was back at it again in his recent charge where he assaulted 38-year-old Maudrin Chisenga of Chawama Township.
When the matter came up in the Lusaka Magistrate Court Magistrate Mulife granted Dimba a K5, 000 bail with two working sureties.
The case has been adjourned to November 24 for commencement of trial.
