CHINGOLA MAN CONVICTED FOR STEALING CONDOMS AND SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS IN JAIL WITH HARD LABOUR
A 30 YEAR OLD man of Chingola who stole goods worth K 440 among them a box of condoms from Kasompe Clinic has been sentenced to three years imprisonment with hard labour.

Titus Mwenda of New Plots area in Lulamba township was convicted by Magistrate Shadreck Chanda after pleading guilty to the offence.
Particulars of the offence are that on unknown dates but between May 6 and 7 this year in Chingola, Mwenda broke into Kasompe Government Clinic and stole six packets of family planning pills, one packet of male condoms, tissue, two meters of Chitenge material and a counseling flip chat altogether valued at K 440.
Delivering judgment, Mr. Chanda imposed a three year jail sentence on Mwenda.
