CAROLINE KALOMBE, Lusaka
A LUSAKA woman has petitioned the High Court to end her seven-year marriage because her husband has been denying her conjugal rights for nine months.
This is according to a petition for dissolution of marriage filed in the Lusaka High Court by Bwalya Nyambe.
Ms Nyambe said in her petition that her husband Pfumai Nyambe has been denying her conjugal rights for nine months, adding that the couple last lived together as husband and wife at Bena Ngómbe Road in Lusaka.
She said the marriage has broken down irretrievably and that her husband is financially irresponsible as he does not support her and the children of the family.
Ms Nyambe said the couple married in September 2007 at the Reformed Church in Zambia but that there is no more love between the two.
