Drinking spree ends in death

Chinsali,  December 24,2014,ZANIS…ONE person has drowned at Chipoma falls in Chinsali District of Muchinga Province after a drinking spree.

Muchinga deputy Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso who confirmed the incidence to ZANIS today identified the missing person as peter Mubanga aged 27 a Government employee.

Mr Kapeso said the incidence occurred yesterday between 17 and 18 hours.

Mr kapeso said Mubanga a clerical officer at the Buildings department was in the company of three other friends when he disappeared.

He said the body of Mubanga has not yet been found adding that a search by combined efforts of the  police and fire brigade officers was underway.
