POLICE in Livingstone have launched a manhunt for former mayor of the city Aggrey Njekwa for allegedly murdering his neighbour.
Livingstone Central police officer commanding Joseph Chitambo said yesterday that police are looking for the former mayor so that he can help with investigations over the death of Herbert Mulonda last week.
He said instructions that Mr Njekwa should be apprehended have been issued so that he could help the police with more information.
Mr Chitambo appealed to Mr Njekwa to turn himself in to the police.
He said Mr Mulonda died last week and police are waiting for a post mortem report on the matter.
