Nakonde man jumps to death

Nakonde, October 14, 2014, ZANIS…A  25- year- old man of Mwenzo village in Nakonde district in  Muchinga Province has committed suicide after throwing himself from a seven meter high railway bridge.

The incidence has been confirmed to the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Nakonde by Police sources in the area.

The police sources said the incidence happened over the weekend in Mwenzo village.

The sources named the deceased as Muwemba Siluwenga who sustained a deep cut in the head due to the impact of the falling.

According to the sources the motive behind the suicide was not known and that police do not suspect any foul play.

Silwenga ‘s relatives said he has left behind two children and a wife.
