Ciltax boosts women national team’s morale

Lusaka, October, 8th ZANIS—The Zambia women national soccer team this morning received a shot in the arm after CilTax Consultants Limited of Lusaka donated about K13, 200 (US$2,100) cash to the team.

And the women national soccer team this afternoon leaves for Namibia for this weekend’s women Africa cup of nations’ tournament.

Handing over the cash money to Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) vice president Boniface Mwamelo at Football House in Lusaka today, CilTax chief executive officer Kingsley Chanda said each of the 21 players will receive US$100.

Chanda said his company was deeply moved by the recent media reports of financial challenges that have befallen the team ahead of this weekend’s continental championship.

And Mwamelo thanked CilTax consultants for the donation saying it will great motivate the girls as they represent Zambia in Namibia.

CilTax Consultants Limited is a tax firm.

The Shepolopolo leaves the country this afternoon for Namibia for the ninth edition of the women Africa cup championship which kicks off this Saturday.

Their first game will be against hosts Namibia at the Sam Nujoma stadium in Windhoek at 16 hours local time.

Zambia is in group B alongside Ivory Coast, Nigeria and the hosts Namibia.
