National Restoration Party (NAREP) is saddened by the death of Anthony Chunza a resident of kakoswe extension in Chililabombwe on the Copperbelt Province who died in the line duty at Konkola Copper Mine (KCM) in the early hours of Sunday yesterday.
Chunza who is a Mine Worker at KCM in Chililabombwe and believed to be in his early thirties, was crushed to death on duty at about 02:00 yesterday.
And NAREP Presidential Assistant David Kapuma has called on the Mining safety Agency to investigate what could have caused such a dreadful accident to occur in which life was lost.
Mr. Kapuma says his party is particularly concerned because the accident is the first of its kind to occur in the country were one is crashed to death in the line of duty in the manner Chunza was killed.
