At least fourteen people are feared dead after a road traffic accident that happened last evening on the Kapiri-Ndola road.
The accident happened when a Toyota Hiace registration number ALM 3177 collided head on with a truck Registration number CF 78ts GP belonging to Copper Zone of South Africa carrying copper from the Copperbelt to South Africa.
Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Public Relations Officer, Mercy Kozi Mwila, confirmed the incident to QFM News in a telephone interview last night.
Ms Mwila says the crash happened at about 15 kilometres from Kafulafuta between 17 and 18hrs yesterday.
She reveals that the Toyota Hiace was heading to the Copperbelt.
