RB’s son in court

FORMER President Rupiah Banda’s son, Andrew, was expected to appear in court yesterday for assault, Eastern Province police commissioner Grace Chipalila said.
Andrew was arrested and charged for unlawful wounding during campaigns for the Mkaika by-election won by MMD candidate Peter Phiri.
Andrew is accused of willfully wounding two Patriotic Front cadres.
The alleged assault happened at a place known as Mtetezi in Katete and one of the victims is admitted to St Francis Hospital in Katete.
