The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has implored soccer fans to continue supporting the national team despite its non impressive performances at the ongoing Orange Africa Cup of Nations.
FAZ spokesperson Erick Mwanza described Football are unpredictable and despite adequate preparations nobody knows how the players will turn out inn actual game.
Mwanza further said that there is no need to start panicking as no team has qualified or eliminated from Group C, where Zambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso are first for the quarter finals.
He explained that the Chipolopolo Boys are currently recovering, strategizing and training for Burkina Faso ahead of the make or break tie slated for tomorrow.
Mwanza reiterated that the outcome of past games has never been used to determine outcome of coming games.
He urged soccer fans to wait for Tuesday and the result stressing that was when can be joyous or otherwise.
He reiterated that the Zambian squad is good and Coach Hervey Renard will put out a great and the best team that can qualify to the quarterfinals even via a 1-0 win Zambia needs.
