Vodafone Zambia and Prosign Zambia have partnered to support the Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) by handing over 250 branded luggage trolleys at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport valued at $130,000.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Vodafone Zambia Sales & Distribution Director Mrs Leah Kooma said Vodafone is committed to supporting the aviation sector in Zambia which is a vital component for the growth of the tourism sector.
“Vodafone Zambia ispleased to have partnered with Prosign Zambia in undertaking this project that demonstrates our support towards the growth of the aviation sector. We realise thestrategic role that Kenneth Kaunda International Airport plays as a gateway to Zambia to give customers access to tourism, conferencing and trade destinations. Through our partnership with Prosign Zambia, a total of $130,000 has been invested in the purchasing and branding of the trolleys that local and international passengers can use in the arrivals terminal at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport going forward.” said Kooma.
Mrs Kooma further said that the partnership between Vodafone Zambia and ZACL marks the beginning of a great partnership as Vodafone Zambia will continue to make viable investments in the aviation industry which is a catalyst to the growth of the tourism sector in Zambia, and the economy at large
Speaking at the same event, Prosign Zambia Managing Director, Mr Michael Musonda said his organisation has continued working closely with ZACL to provide quality advertising.
“We have continued working with Zambia AirportsCorporation Limited to provide quality advertising at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport following the deployment of the state of the art digital flight information board and display screens across the airport. This time around, werealised that one of theopportunities for both organisations was provision of trolleys and we therefore partnered with Vodafone Zambia to support ZACL in in its quest to provide superior services to its customers, as we have a shared vision in supporting the growth of the aviation sector.”said Musonda.
Zambia Airports Corporation Limited expressed gratitude to Prosign Zambia and Vodafone Zambia for partnering with the airport in providing trolleys which are critical to its operations.
