Former Finance Minister Ng’andu Magande is concerned that the PTA Bank–Zambian government business window he opened in his tenure as Minister has now started crumbling under the PF government.
Mr. Magande who was Finance Minister under the Levy Patrick Mwanawasa administration says he finds it saddening that the PF government is failing to pay the dues owed to the PTA Bank which has been servicing the country’s fuel imports.
He says he finds it difficult to understand what has gone wrong with the business window that had been working so well under the previous government.
Mr. Magande who is also opposition National Movement for Progress (NMP) leader has wondered why the PF government is failing to learn a business venture that has been long established to benefit the country.
Mr Magande said this in an interview with Qfm News.
