Ninety year old  woman raped in Kasama district

Kasama, February 12^th, 2015, ZANIS — A  twenty year old man  has allegedly  raped  ninety year old woman of Maraundi Compound in Mbala District .

Northern Province Deputy Police Commissioner Alfred Nawa confirmed the development to ZANIS in Kasama today.

Mr. Nawa identified the victim as Mwila Nachula, ninety and the suspect as Chris Mooya all residents of Mbala district.

He said Mooya has been pouncing on the old woman since early February, this year and was only caught in the act around 02:00hrs this morning by alert neighbours.
