Patriotic Front (PF) Eastern Province Chairperson, Lameck Mangani says the ruling party is geared for the Malambo, Petauke and Vubwi parliamentary by-elections once the date for polls has been set by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
Mr. Mangani has told Qfm News that the party in the province is confident of scooping the seats whenever the by-elections will be held.
He says the party has already picked candidates for the Malambo, Petauke and Vubwi by-elections and is yet to pick a candidate for the Kasenengwa by-election.
Mr. Mangani says the PF central committee will be meeting soon to pick a candidate for Kasenengwa.
Legal challenges have prevented the holding of by-elections in Malambo, Petauke and Vubwi constituencies.
