The PF leadership made the declaration following the opposition leaders scotching outburst against President Michael Sata and the PF leadership during a rally in Lusaka’s Mandevu Constituency on Sunday.
PF District political secretary Mwansa Ntemena said in an interview yesterday that the PF in Luapula would not allow Mr Hichilema to use the province as a stage to issue unwarranted attacks on Mr Sata and the PF Government.
“We warn HH to tone down in his language if he has to step his foot in Luapula because it’s a no-go area for the opposition,” he said.
Mr Ntemena added that Mr Hichilema would never rule Zambia if he continued his politics of immaturity, hatred, insults and arrogance towards the ruling party, its leadership and fellow human beings.
“He is not a leader that we need, he has so much hatred for other human beings. HH and his henchmen should know that they are still babies in politics. PF is here to stay,’’ he said.
Mr Ntemena, who is also a founder member of the PF in the province, said the UPND leader had failed to offer tangible alternative to the PF manifesto and development programmes.
I feel and convinced that this type of politics is not
welcome this time around. There should be no area within the borders of Zambia which should be declared a no go area for any Zambian who has not committed any crime. This type of politics is the one that brings tribalism. Why should HH or indeed any other politician be inhibited to visit Luapula province? Be level headed and realise that we are but one people.
