VETERAN defender Chintu Kampamba was on target as Kabwe Warriors came from a goal down to thrash 10-men Konkola Mine Police in this exciting MTN-FAZ Premier League Week 23 fixture.  The victory saw Warriors moving up to 32 points but maintained ninth position while Mine Police, who had national team defender Chongo Kabaso sent off for accumulating two yellow cards, are wallowing in relegation waters in 13th position on 25 points.   And it was the visitors who stunned the home crowd with a 13th minute penalty scored by Stanley Chabala despite Warriors keeper Kelvin Musonda making contact with the ball.   But Warriors’ persistence paid off four minutes later when Musonda Mweuke was brought down inside the box and Kampamba made no mistake sending Mine Police keeper Evans Chewe the wrong way.  It was one way traffic as Mweuke produced a thunderbolt long range volley outside the box in the 43rd minute beating Chewe in goal before Larry Siakapisa made sure of the result in the 54th minute heading in a Samson Chulu cross.  Mine Police were dealt a blow as they surged forward for the goal when captain Chongo got his second yellow card of the game and was sent for an early shower in the 58th minute and the Chililabombwe side came close to reducing the deficit but Chabala’s effort in the 90th minute was dealt with by the Warriors keeper Musonda.
