The opposition Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) has commended the Zambia Police for putting to an end the lawlessness among alleged Patriotic Front (PF) cadres who have been reported to have been engaging in illegal allocation of Land in Lusaka.
On Thursday yesterday, the Zambia Police swung into action to arrest over 300 suspected PF cadres who allocated themselves 20 hectors of a 30 hectors Trishul farm land of Lusaka West belonging to a Mr. Patel.
ZED president Frederick Mutesa notes that this is how it should be what the Police did to arrest and charge the PF cadres for criminal trespass as Zambia is a country governed by law.
Mr. Mutesa has charged that anyone who is trying to disturb the peace, law and order must be brought to book just like the police have done to arrest the PF cadres who have since appeared in court for their offenses.
Mr. Mutesa was speaking to Qfm in an interview.
