SUMSANG says they will be a 10 billion dollar company by the year 2015.
Samsung electronics Vice president and chief operating officer George Ferreira said the multibillion billion company aims at being a 10 billion dollar company by 2015, he disclosed that upon the company launching the galaxy S4 in South Africa this year, they have received an overwhelming response.
He said every stock takes two to three days to finish which shows how Africa is a good place for business.
Ferreira explained that all the innovative features of the galaxy S4 were developed based on the insight and needs of the customers and designed to meet the business and personal communication needs.
“The Galaxy S4 has features that truly make it truly a part of everyday life, whether the user has an active, physical lifestyle, or is a business person requiring a tool to simplify his or her travels, the Galaxy S4 Samsung has features that will enhance the way they live,” said Ferreira.
He said Zambian customers will now purchase the Galaxy S4 from all Zamtel retail outlets in Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone and Chipata, the device will be offered pre-activated for 3G/ data and DStv mobile where customers will be able to watch 13 DStv channels on the device.
Speaking during the same event in Lusaka today Zamtel chief executive officer Dr. Simon Mwanakatwe described the partnership as presenting an opportunity for Zambians to access the very latest and most innovative technology available today.
“Our partnership strategic partnership with Samsung has now made it possible for Zamtel subscribers to gain access to the latest offerings from Samsung through our flagship stores at affordable and highly competitive prices,” said Dr. Mwanakatwe.
